PACK WALKS AND ACTIVITY DAYS

By Joining a "Bark Right Pack Walk" I understand I am walking my dog at my own risk. I understand that attendance of any of the walks is not without risk to me, members of my family, guests who may attend, or to my dog. I understand it is my responsibility to keep my dog on-leash and under control at all times. I agree to ask the owner of each dog for permission prior to an introduction between dogs but as a general rule, keep at a safe distance from all other participants, until the gaps can be closed safely, this may take a number of sessions.

These are leashed only dog walks, no retractable leads permitted.  I further understand that coming in contact with other dogs is not without health risks and that it is my responsibility to be sure my dog is properly vaccinated and in good health. In consideration of this I hereby agree to indemnify and hold Bark Right and its representatives , event sponsors and event volunteers of any and all claims. I further understand that any pictures taken of the event may be used for press, social media, the BR website and advertising for an indefinite period of time.

Although our walks, puppy classes and activities are covered by our business insurance - you are advised that you should have appropriate cover in place for your dog.

Our activity sessions are on and off lead - only dogs assessed as suitable will be allowed off lead with another assessed dog.

Health

All participants must be of fit health for the activity you are participating in:

Acknowledgement of walking Risks. (a) I understand that my participation in the Fitness Activities may subject me to the possibility of serious physical injury including, but not limited to, bodily injury, cardiac arrest, paralysis or death (collectively, the “Risks”). (b) I represent that I am in good health and proper physical condition to participate in such activities. I understand and acknowledge that Barkright recommends that I check with a physician before participating in any Fitness Activities- this responsibilities lays with the participant/s - we will however ensure where reasonably practicable, ensure risks are minimised.

All walks take place in parks that could contain steep inclines/declines, grass and loose gravel.

Appropriate walking attire recommended.

Puppy classes / General

Please note your dog is your responsibility during the sessions. Please ensure your dog has a well fitted collar and harness for each session and no retractable lead used. Ensure your dog is in good health before attending any Bark Right training and has completed their vaccinations.

If you wish to cancel your place, 10 days notice is required to receive a full refund. Any cancellations after this period (excluding loss of a dogs life) are non-refundable. Bark Right may use images and videos of your dog on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for promotional and educational purposes.

XL Bully breeds are the only breed on the Banned breed list that we accept on our activities - please note that you must provide an exemption certificate and the dog must be securely muzzled at all times - you must have suitable insurance.

We reserve the right not to admit any dog we deem dangerous to any of our sessions, we may need to refer you to a suitable behaviorist, the dogs welfare is paramount on all our sessions.

Any children attending must not approach other dogs without owners permission.

All emergency first aid is provided in emergency only - we are not vets and any recommendation is done so in the best interests of the animal, we are trained first aiders for Canines.

Refunds are not processed unless at least 48 hrs notice given -  unless cancelled by us.

Transfers to another date are free to action at anytime so long as space is available.

Pack Walks /1:1s

Our Pack walks are group walks, but are not designed to be 1:1 sessions.

Courses

All external courses are non refundable unless cancelled by us.

All Canine first aid courses are run by external parties, dogs must not attend these sessions.

Weather 

All sessions will be cancelled (at some short notice where required) due to adverse weather conditions - we will endeavour to contact all participants ASAP - PAYMENTS WILL BE TRANSFERED TO ANOTHER SESSION OR REFUNDED WITHIN 7 DAYS .
